Security & data

Last updated: June 2026

Your trade documents contain sensitive commercial and banking information. Here is exactly how TradeDoc handles them — in plain language.

Trying the parser is anonymous and stores nothing

When you upload a document on the public parser without an account, the file is read in memory to extract the fields and is then discarded. We do not save the file, and we do not store its contents. Only anonymous usage metrics (such as file type and how many fields were found) are recorded — never the document’s contents.

Your saved documents are private to you

Once you create an account, every document you save is readable, editable, and deletable only by your account. Per-document access control is enforced at the database level — no other user can read your documents, even via our API.

We don’t resell or train on your data

We do not sell your data, and we do not use the contents of your documents to train machine-learning models. AI features (such as field verification) process your document only to return a result to you.

Payments

Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe processes payments directly under their PCI-compliant infrastructure.

Infrastructure

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Documents and account data are stored in a managed backend with access restricted to the application’s server. Analytics, subscription, and usage records are server-only and not readable from the browser.

Reporting an issue

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please email support@nextstarai.com. We take reports seriously and will respond promptly.
